We both scheduled the Tuesday after Memorial Day off and commited to some extreme measures: no social engagements. No movies. No dinner out. FOUR DAYS sequestered in the basement.
Get that bedroom sheetrocked or die trying. But no remodeling adventure would be complete without at least one new tool: a new compression drill/screwdriver! So much easier to use than the old one. I use it on occasion. AND it has a light! So cool!
And plenty of old tools of course. Including the giant nail gun. Yeeps. I never use this tool. Too heavy. And dangerous.
We completed the hardest part -- the ceiling -- with relative ease, considering the challenge. It only required me to stand with sheetrock balanced on my head a little bit.
