On our first day out, we headed over to the capitol! The capitol opened in January, so sister is the only other of our visitors who has toured the magnificence thus far!

Everything's covered in snow now, but it wasn't that long ago that the city was quite verdant!
The angles and light in the capitol are amazing.
We finished our informal tour with a tunnel photo shoot. The security guard in the back tried his best to slink out of the shot, but I got him. :)

Love that shot of your mom in the capitol. I can't believe they let you go right into the meeting room (or whatever they call it). How exciting!
