Sunday Adventure to Silver Creek!

Let's get in that big new truck and go somewhere!

Off through the fabulous (and rather elusive) snow...

To the Silver Creek Preserve. The Hemingways used to hunt the mighty trout here, starting in the late 1930s. We slam the truck doors and my husband is off!

It was only about 20 degrees outside, and the water was frozen in spots...and you KNOW my penchant for falling over. Thankfully, no one went in.

 My favorite and most elusive subject...frozen water!

Coyotes just roam around like they own the place.

The visitor's center wasn't open, but we rested on the deck for a while.
