Including tiny cupcakes inspired by that famous engagement ring. I had intended them to be more precise, but they worked just fine. It's hard to see in the pic, but the edible jewels are affixed with sparkle frosting!
We had two kinds of cucumber sandwiches, tiny crustless ham sandwiches with mustard and sesame seeds, and of course, tea served on this lovely tea set. The teapot had a small musicbox mechanism in the bottom, so when you picked it up to pour, it played a song!
And a bounty of treats too, including a checkered Battenberg cake, homemade lavender-lemon scones with clotted cream, homemade English muffins (to die for!) with lemon curd, and a chocolate cake in the spirit of the groom's cake made of McVities biscuits and chocolate. So much deliciousness!
Especially one that gets this excited about the viewing!! Hee hee! This response was actually quite sophisticated -- the jumping up and down happened when there were horses on the screen!
