Into Key West!

Soon the green patches became more and more sparse...

And then turned into magical and surreal paintings.

And then into mostly water...

And then I started to have a wee anxiety attack concerning the lack of LAND beneath us, the cramp-ed-ness of the tiny seat in which I was wedged, and the amount of personal space alloted to fliers. The nice folks at VistaMar helped out with that. Turns out I was thirsty for a vacation!

Thankfully we didn't have to use this gauge. WHY IN GOD'S NAME WOULD THEY PUT THIS ON THE PLANE?!?!

Anxiety began to dissolve as keys began to appear again. I think this is Marathon.

There's the engineering wonder that is "Seven Mile Bridge."
And then the nice lady guided us from the plane into the wee airport of the Conch Republic (their motto: We seceded where others failed.). While it was unfortunate that I was jammed into that last seat at the back of the plane, I was fortunately, the second person off the plane! Welcome to Key West!
